Defense is good, not great. Probably will end up in the 8-10 range.

Offensive line is beyond horrendous. Sanchez is skittish in the pocket and we have zero play makers.

    We are a 6-10 to 8-8 team.

If nothing has changed why would our defense go from 5th to 8th-10th ?

thank you for creating this thread that makes a positive contribution to the message board.

Defense looked very good, Sanchez didn't look skittish, but yes WFH did look awful. Lets also remember we are missing a lot of of WRs

No Holmes, no Kerley, no Tebow getting snaps with the first team offense. This isn't the final product.

Our Wr's scare no one. Our OLine just isn't that good and our defense is average. The OP is right. It wouldn't matter tonight if Holmes were playing or Schilens or Wayne Chrebet for that matter. This team simply is not that good.

    WFH ruins this offense.

What really stinks is that Tannenbaum could of easily signed a new rt. Tackle and a playmaker or 2 and the Jets would be playoff bound!

I'm being optimistic but so far things do not look good.

Easily, really? Who could Tannenbaum have signed this off-season and kept the team under the cap at RT and "a playmaker or 2"

LOL. That is the most negative post from an optimist in the history of forum posting.

I wanted him on the Dolphins...

Our new right tackle, that Martin kid from USC, was atrocious yesterday...

Tannenbaum paid Hunter did'nt he? He paid Schillins. He paid Sanchez. That money could of went to positions of need. I'm not the GM. Its Tannenbaums job to get the team the players it needs - and he did not accomplish that.

Hunter's contract was already on the books for this year. (yes, i know they could have cut him before having his contract before it became guaranteed, but if they did that they didn't have a RT ont he roster...)

Sanchez's extension (if i remember correctly) actually lowered his cap hit this season...

Schillens got a league minumum contract for a veteran.

    Your turn...

Kareem McKenzie, Chad Clifton, Stacey Andrews, Jeff Otah all still available. One of them has to be healthy enough to be better than Hunter.

If hunter sucks in the woods, and no one is there to witness, is an out of shape, injured otah still better?
