On an interesting note, I was hit up on twitter by Cromartie's wife to make a flyer to email/post in players' lockers for a party thrown by a bunch of the players' wives. If it's adequate, I'm invited too. Not sure how I'd go about staying cool and not being a total fanboy :lol:
Well he can't play his regular positon w/o fouling, holding or playing dirty . . . . so maybe there is a chance for him there . . . . just saying
I am having nightmarish visions of Coles catching passes from Brooks Bollinger again. If we are at this point anytime during this season I expect a 4-12 record.
I can see this play happening eventually: "Tebow launches the ball deep, wants Cromartie.... TOUCHDOWN JETS!"
Cro will look good at wide out in practice when the secondary can't lay the lumber on him. When real bullets start to fly it will be alligator arms, one handed reaches and rounded off passing routes to avoid contact.
If they only use him in Red Zone packages, I'm all for it. There's a much better chance of him getting hurt returning kicks than catching passes, but I remember almost everyone on here loving that idea. The guy is an exceptional athlete ... we might as well pick our spots with him.
