I apologize if this has already gotten coverage here, as I was away this weekend and just got to watching the game last night. In the 3rd Qtr, in the drive that the bengals man handled us running the ball, they ran away from Coples on most of the plays and were totally wrecking our 2s(3s?). It really seemed like Coples got a little complacent / tired / lazy?. After the drive was over NFL Network showed a clip of Maybin having a very animated, very one-sided conversation with just Coples on the bench. The next 2-3 series Coples came out with fire and dominated ( even though he was obviously 100% gassed ). Maybin it seems has really come into his own on this team, at least as far as a vocal leader. I'm excited to see how it translates onto on the field, But if he does nothing else this season besides staying in Coples ear with results like Friday, he'd be a huge asset to this team.
He told Coples, "Listen dude, I don't make any plays at all, so you better get your ass in gear and cover some ground!"
They got into an argument? I guess that means he quit on the team and is a locker room cancer. Damn, season over.
sounds good to me...he's a rook and must have done something that maybin spotted...i expect guys who have been in the league longer to correct coples when needed.

it being Maybin certainly has nothing to do with your valued opinion... btw you go to a game every once in a while...last time I checked BUF vs WAS was just blacked out due to non attendance. pretty awesome for the soon to be SB Champion Buffalo Bills.

Don't let him rattle you kid; this was a nice spot by you and it's nice to see Maybin taking a lead role. I think the savy members on his board get your what you were getting at so keep posting.

Yes I did see it and was impressed with Maybin as well as Coples. Maybin seems to be a real leader for our defense!
