heheheh. There are some Tebow supporters who are extremists as well. Funny thing is that the majority of us are actually rational and knowledgeable football fans and just want Tebow to do well, in whatever role Rex has for him.
Easy Billy, you sound defensive and a tad insane. It remains to be seen if Sanchez has as much of a leash as you imagine that he does. Writing in huge bold letters will not add any veracity to your posts, just make you look a lil less intelligent.
Not trying to start up an argument, but I think that there already is a QB controversy in NY. The play on the field by both QBs will determine how bad it gets.
Unfortunately for you, the QB controversy is only in your head. Mike T, Rex, and Tony have all unequivocally stated that Mark is the starter, Tim is the backup nad that there is no QB controversy. I think I will take their word over yours.
2 comment and I am out 1. I withhold judgment on Tebows improvement/regression until I see it for myself. The media is driving a storyline. Seeing it with your own eyes is the only way to make a judgement one way or the other without risking looking like a jackass 2 while there are a few anti tebow guys it is nothing like the Denver forums were so give them a little bit of credit. I see a lot of Sanchez is our guy, but Tebow can contribute. That is better that Tebow isn't elway so he sucks
I don't think that's true. I think there is a QB controversy that is in the hands of Sanchez. He either makes it valid or invalidates it in the first 8 weeks of the season.
You are mistakenly attributing a QB controversy to only what the coaching staff says. If the fans or media get heavily involved, it is still a QB controversy. There are very few coaches who will openly say there is a QB controversy even if there is one. Could you imagine Rex Ryan saying, "We have a QB controversy here." How would it benefit the team if he said that?
If that is true, then every NFL team has a QB controversy. If any QB plays terrible for the first 8 weeks, people will be calling for the backup. this is just common sense. A QB controversy, in the common vernacular, means that currently there is some controversy over who the starting QB is. On the NY Jets there is not. Mark is the starter. Tim is the backup. Period.
Keep telling yourself that... The writing is on the wall for Mark, I believe... It became a controversy as soon as the Jets traded for the QB who just beat the one that currently starts for them.
Most real Jets fans want Mark as their QB. No controversy. Delusional Tebois like you want Tim to start. You are generally ignored or made fun of. The media accepts that Mark is the starting QB, with the exception of some fringe rags and blogs that are trying to sell sensationalism. You are mistakenly attributing a QB controversy to some delusion in your own mind. Good luck with that.
That's pretty funny...This Tebow Forum seems to have more anti-Tebow posters on it than pro-Tebow posters, all here just to refute what he says...So I wouldn't say he's generally ignored.
Being a Jets fan, you don't even know what a winner looks like, so you don't really qualify to remark on the situation anyway. A measly 2 division titles in 42 years can blur your vision, I suppose.
HAHAH, we don't know what a winner looks like? When's the last time the Fins won a playoff game? Better yet an 11 win season? They are as irrelevant as the Jets in the early 90s with that POS coach (whoms name I won't say). Enjoy that hole you guys digged, you won't be out of there for another 3 or 4 seasons. On topic btw - So Tebow makes one play now he's got the advantage? LOCK IT UP TEBOW IS A BETTER QB than SANCHEZ. One play dictates all
Suddenly, playoff victories are meaningful and significant...... Well, that's unless it came with Tebow at QB, then it doesn't mean shit /sarcasm
I was about to post the same thing ! ha ! playoff wins are significant if Tebow is not the QB if he is the QB then they mean nothing
