He makes a good point about what happens if Rex does win one? Rex should talk and brag about it, but we know all he will say is that "the players deserve it" and give the players all the credit.

So true, but that's what great about Rex.

He has a big mouth but, when it comes down to it, he is a humble guy.

Yeah. I'm hoping we can drastically improve on 20th in points allowed.

    Our O is still unproven.

Here's hoping for the best. The media can say all they want, their talk is cheap as well. It all comes down to winning, and playing a good game with all the tools necessary.

    One Day

When we win the SB, the NFL is going to go into the Dark Ages, I can tell you that. Shit will hit the fan like there is no tomorrow.

FIXED. To a much more realistic statement.

Hate this Tebow crap. Love the kid, hate his followers.

Because the Jets don't play in the NFCW.

The Jets play in a division with a team that has averaged 13 wins a season over the last 3 years.

We aren't winning 13 games or the division but we should be in the thick of the AFC race again.

If the NFL playoffs has taught us anything, it's that once you're in, anything can happen.

Getting into the postseason should be the Jets #1 goal. If we do that, our chances are as good as anybody else's. Matchups and getting hot at the right time take over from there.

Have to admit I like the way Adam Schein lays it on the line,, Tells it like it is,, Refreshing to say the least. As for this year I am in a wait a see mode,, its still way to early to tell how things will go. But I beleive we have the blueprint for success and we just may be missing a piece or two to get over the hump. I think this team needs one more year to jell and like I said make the right picks and we can do it. Go Jets

Only 2 teams in the history of the NFL have won the Super Bowl as a 6th seed Wild Card team.

Winning the division, with a home playoff game and possibly a bye, should be the Jets goal, not just backing into the playoffs as a WC team.

Points allowed is different than defensive points allowed. The Ravens put up 35 points on us and 21 of them were TDs off fumbles or Picks. What does that have to do with our defense. I think we led the league in ST fumbles and we definitely had a lot of turnovers on offense.

Who says they should aim for backing in as a WC? I'd be ecstatic if they won a division and first round bye, but until the rest of the league stops playing like pussies against the Pats, it just ain't happening any time soon. We somehow pull 11-12 wins out of our ass, the Pats will find a wayto win 13-14. It's just the way it is.

My point is that there's far more parity in the NFL than there is in any other sport. The Giants have shown in two of the last four years that getting hot at the right time against teams that don't match up against your strengths is really all you need to make it to the big show.

Would I put my money on an 8-8 team over a 13-3 team? Probably not. However, I won't rule out the 8-8 team entirely either. I evaluate football playoffs on a week-by-week basis.
