The pauses are what crack me up. You'd think the reporters would get accustomed to the short answers, and jump in there. But they seem to think it's as funny as we do, and let the silence linger for 5 seconds after each question.

If a person was watching this guy for the first time and did'nt know what Belicheck had accomplished in the NFL a person might think that he is a first time coach and total loser. Unfortunately for us he is not.

They went below .500 in cleveland for 5 years with 1 playoff appearance, and Belichicks first year under Bledsoe was like 4-12 I believe. I think Bill retires with Brady anyway, he wont win anything post-Brady, he will be older to. I dont think he wants to start rebuilding while he is in his mid 60's.

As much as I can't stand this guy, I don't necessarily mind his approach because as Jet fans we know how shitty is, and if you give them less they will create less. I prefer Rex's style which is more authentic and honest, but just look at what the media is able to do with what he says. If you give those schmucks the bare minimum they create less drama and its more about football.
HCs can't get better with experience? How come the Pats started destroying teams in 2007 after they got ratted out for Spygate? Every time I hear ppl say it was all Brady I shake my head. In 2001, 03 and 04 those teams were GREAT defensively and special teams-wise, Brady was not who he is today during those titles. Now excuse me while I smash myself over the head with a shovel for defending Belistink.
