Is Shonn going to be all we hope and more this year, or is he going to be mediocre?

    What's your fantasy prediction?

He has to be drafted late as a backup/sleeper. If you are taking him as RB2 it isn't gonna be good for you. He may lose his starting job and Tebow will certainly vulture some of his TD's if he doesn't. He does have 1,000 yard potential if he can hold of Ganaway throughout the season so he is a good risk as a 3rd RB or low grade RB2.

So you don't think he could break through and be a decent sleeper?

I wouldn't draft him as a #2 but he could drop to a bench player pick up.

I think he'd be good if you can get him as an extra or a waiver wire pickup if (when) you lose another RB to injury. But that's about it.

I think Tebow clearly handcuffs his value, but he still has potential to post another 1000 yard season.

Perhaps a good bye week replacement or situational starter depending on the week, but not a RB2

well you are right and for some reason I didn't think about it.

I just have a feeling that it's different because Tebow was already the starter with McGahee, whereas he will be inserted with the Jets throughout different situations.

Personally, at the very least I would avoid Greene until I needed a 3rd back.

He may post career numbers, but I just feel hesitant about the situation and I really can't give you a legit reason - just a gut feeling.

McGahee only did have 4 tds so that is where I would worry about being a handcuff

It´s really a strange situation with Greene. He´ll be the Workhorse on one of the few run first teams left in the league and should get 250+ carries, but he still has a very low celling. He won´t catch much passes, he won´t break long runs, and he won´t score a lot of TDs.

The comparison with McGahee isn´t really valid, cuz McGahee was good with Tebow as a QB, he had the benifit, that the D had to Respect Tebwo as a runner, which opened up Holes for McGahee. Greene doens´t have that benifit with Sanchez under Center, but he has the same Problem, McGahee had from Tebow´s presence, and that´s limited GL work.

If i can get Greene as a Backup, I´ll happily draft him, but I´d rather look elsewhere for a starting-RB.

He has to be considered a 3/4 RB at this point. Tebow is going to see too many touches around the goalie to start Greene.

I'd call him an adequate #2 back, but you dont wanna have to rely on him to put up any HUGE weeks. If i have him starting, I better have a dope WR corps.
