    Wanna bet? Like, FOR REAL?

I for one never thought Schottenheimer was NFL level coaching material. Maybe highschool level, and if he evolves, maybe JuCo level. Not higher. He has to be able to outsmart the competition consistently to be of any worth - that is not happening even in NCAA level.

I dont think hell be the Jets HC ever.

But the guy has an excellent shot at landing a HC job. Hell people thought he MIGHT get one this year, and that was with how bad the Jets season was.

If he turns the Rams offense into a decent one, he could be a HC in the next 3-4 years without question.

    I agree.

Schottenheimer was not good for the Jets but there are a lot of stupid owners/GMs out there -- his name value will go a long way, as will his complicated playbook (that stuff always sounds way better in interviews than it works in real life.) If Sam Bradford has a couple of good years, I could definitely see Schottenheimer landing a head coaching gig.

Put it this way: if guys like Mangini, Mularkey, Carroll and Gailey can get two shots, then Schotty can get one.

    As per ROTOWORLD

Bilal Powell is "having a nice camp, even getting some reps with the first team," according to ESPN New York.
Shonn Greene is in no danger of losing the Week 1 starting job, but Powell could be nipping at his heals if he reprises his early-season struggles from a year ago. In the meantime, Powell has a pass-protection edge on Joe McKnight in the battle for third-down duties. Coach Rex Ryan suggested Powell's rookie-season struggles are part of a start-slow/finish-strong pattern going back to Louisville.

    Rams offense?

    You mean, this?

It will stay that way this season. Mark my words. You heard it here first.

That said, you do have a point: if Gailey can be a head coach, Schottenheimer should be able to land a spot. That I would have to agree.

Does Benson have the drive to be a starter? He's seemed like a player who lives in his own little world at times.

Not one of those backs you have listed played a full season last year, so you cant compare their total yards with someone like Greene, who did play a full season

Except Greene didn't play a full season. He had like 3 snaps in the Broncos game, and there were a bunch of other games with a pass heavy offense that simply didn't feature him as much. If we get back to ground and pound, he'll be a top 10 RB, no question.

You got me on Jonathan Stewart. While I dont agree he was one of the "better" backs in the league last year, He wasnt injured. (I could have swarn he was hurt at one point, but guess I was wrong)

Demarco Murray WAS one of the "better" backs in the league, but didnt do shit until Felix Jones went down and he got his chance to shine (week 6) and was injured in week 14. So yes he was great from week 6-14 but sorry, I dont count that as a full season lol.

Ben Tate did great while Arian Foster was out, but are we really comparing a starter to a back up?
