Besides the man lost 2 people in weight
Besides he is actually going to put at least a presence on Offense & Defense(This Year)

The man looks angry at the with Media
He doesn't answer all the Media's questions like the past.
I hope our team rubs off his swag and follows the leader

I know we always say were going to have a great year as Jets fans but it's going to be a great year .......

I agree with the sentiment. This whole team will be pissed the fuck off all year after last year.

He is different he's not his old self; He's no longer completely brash; He's been humbled; He is a different coach then before and I can say(this includes myself) we have all been bitching for his progression in his total approach of coaching

Rex and the entire team and organization SHOULD be humbled, I mean the taste of crow should still be fresh in their mouths ! If they at anytime get full of themselves or start to believe in any hype they can borrow my recording of last years Xmas eve game ! My expectations for this year are very tapered ,,, I now am of the train of thought,," show me " don't tell me .

eH 3rd Guinness but i know how to edit my posts problem solved
I hear ya. I'd rather the whole team not talk the entire regular season and just put "it" on the field
I'm not saying we are going to be dominate...on offense but we still will have "those games"
    10-6//seems reasonable
But wouldn't be surprised if we got near 13-3 all we need is more POINTS on Offense sadly
Quicker Tempo Offense( Less movement pre snap, quicker routes, using players to their ability )
Reggie bush got 1200 or so yards last year and Greene barely got a 1000 suffering injury so I'm not entirely worried about our run game
John Conner needs to learn to run&catch on flat route via PA
Sanchez again has to deal with the WR Shuffle has the Same TE
OL we have to hope Ducasse win's the LG position and Slauson goes RT(If that's possible I don't know how versatile he really is... Please god no Wayne hunter for 16 games...)

    Defense Speaks for itself
    CB...Revis Nuff said
2 Safeties that will be better then Last Years regardless how bad they are in coverage
3 LB's all hungry for that Last payday before they all retire(Bryan Thomas's health will answer if we can seal the edge or not last year)+Davis, Mauga and I dont know Sapp well if anyone can give me a little insight
DL Should be a main ingredient to us wining this year

So....they didn't care about last year? Same coaching staff. I don't get comments like that. Rex admittedly lost the pulse (control) of the team last year. So, they are pissed now and all is well?

No. I think hearing about how they all hate each other in that locker room for 6 months will ultimately bring them closer together. Nothing motivates more than telling someone they can't do something.

I think the DL and emphasis on weight loss/getting faster in the offseason will also be huge.

Unless you know some really small people, Rex lost 106 pounds.

Id imagine he gets his swag back once the season starts and we start playing some Jet football

i think the most you will get out of him this year will be him claiming we should be the favorites if we are in the playoffs ala 2009

Its Rex, hes gonna build up his guys.

He might not guarantee any superbowls, and he sure as heck aint gonna talk up our offense, but id imagine hes gonna take a ton of pride in what HE is actively doing to improve our defense from the mess last year.

Which means Rexy as we know it

Rex wont have to be brash and make bold SB predictions.

The talking heads at ESPN will do it for him after we win our first 4 games.
