Revis wouldn't be stupid enough to say such a thing in response to the question that was asked. And it doesn't matter if a 2 QB system does or doesn't work. That's not the point. Point is, if the coaches have said that they will implement it, players need to shut their mouths, get on board and support it. It's just like if you or anyone else wants to say that Ground and Pound won't work in today's "pass happy" NFL. It's fine for you to say that and who knows, you might actually be right. BUT, if a player is asked in an interview if Ground and Pound will work, they had damned well better say "Yes, it will work for us".
He did have a lot of drops in 2009. He turned it around big time in 2010. I still wish we held on to him.

^but holmes isn't above the offense. He has a job to do just like everyone else and last season he was one element to an overall underachieving offense. Plus, he had the rank of Captain and when we needed him most he bailed. This is a new year. Let the past be the past and let's move forward. We have a new offensive coordinator a focused strategy and the same goal as every other team in the league. Get hungry Holmes, we need you.
Maybe Rex really does get that he has been giving players too long a leash. Rex seems to have turned the dial down on his own boasting. Maybe this is a sign that he's going to stop publicly kissing players asses and put them in their place when need be. I like it.
Rex, has changed no doubt. I want Rex to accomplish one thing for me, the most dominating defense in the league. We have a lot of quality players on that side of the ball.
