Rex and Co can handle Shockey. Hes on the tail end of his career. Guys like him come in work hard and get the job done. He can be productive here. Put personal hate aside and think about the team and winning football games for a change.

me too, but we all knew it was a TD...and it was an awesome catch, but either way he was a solid blocker and i wouldnt mind taking him back a role player he is getting old tho.

I've posted this before, but I can honestly the Pats lining up 4 TEs and just adjusting their formation based on what the defense is doing to match up. If they've got CBs out there you bunch everyone in tight and run it. If they've got LBs you send them wide and force the defense in to coverage. I could be totally wrong, but I think this i what the Pats are doing.

Cumberland is going to have a break-out year if healthy. A lot of plays where designed for him before the torn achilles. That could affect him but I see no harm in bringing in Shockey he does have two superbowl rings even though he wasn't a total part of him. Having people with that knowledge helps. Plus we already have holmes and had plax and braylon so why are we scared of drama all of a sudden? We kept the dram (holmes anyway)

I'd rather bring back someone like Daniel Graham. He's not really an offensive threat at all at this point in his career, but he's a good blocker and would come on the cheap

I really like Baker I thought he was well rounded and had dope hands..he is probably a little too old now..Cumberland could be a sick player..he is a sick athlete --the problem is the blocking--Hayden Smith could learn blocking right??

I dunno. I think we have enough TEs competing in camp. Keller and Cumberland could be dangerous.

unfortunately that was ruled an incompletion (although he certainly caught the ball).

where is Chris Baker these days anyway?
