fucking cromartie... the first 2 plays i blame more on that useless piece of shit than anyone. that faggot pussy allowed himself to get blocked in the endzone for a half hour because he was scared to take on tebow... pussy! that bitch of a queer also broke down and said hmm how do i not hit this guy hard when cruz broke past him. fuck him the world would be a better place if he wasnt in it.
Cruz play. I was at that game and, while it happened, everyone just watched with their mouths wide open, not saying a word. Cursing and screaming came later. Worst Christmas present ever.
Other: it was Sanchez's pick 6 against Denver. A completely unforced error that turned the game around. There was no excuse for that throw.
the play that dissapoints the most is Cruz's. The stupidest play goes to eric smith, but the wortst play was Sanchez int against the bills out of our own endzone where schotty essentially called a 1 receiver route with sanchez taking a 5 step drop in our own endzone. Whats worse is that Sanchez didn't even have a legal throw it away option. Due to the design Holmes broke over the middle of the field (and into quadruple zone coverage). If it was a designed route to the sideline, sanchez could have chucked it into the stands, but that wasn't available with the only receiver being over the middle of the field. i suppose he could have scrambled, but thats a cardinal sin in your own endzone. In retrospect (and looking at some stills of the play) the best option for Sanchez was to hit Matt Mulligan in the feet with the ball, although he was dangerously close to it being a lateral pass had Sanchez done just that. That play simply pissed me off more than anything we did all season long. It embodied horrid play calling, horrendous play design, piss poor execution, and it put our qb in a position to fail, with about a 5% chance of pulling off a miracle and making the play not a safety or a turnover.
I know Shotty was on there. But more specifically, 59 pass attempts against the Giants comes to mind LOL
The Cruz play makes me want to vomit. Still. Everything about it is absolutely atrocious. There even manages to be some vintage Eric Smith getting outrun in there. And the extra salt in that wound is the fact that Maybin was about 1 millisecond from sacking Manning for a safety or causing a throwaway. If that happens, we win the game, the Giants miss the playoffs and that excruciating postseason doesn't occur.
They were all pretty bad. I'd say the worst ones are the Secondary Ruins Christmas and Sanchez Colorblind.
I do agree that they miss the playoffs but at the end of the day it was better to watch those assholes lift the trophy then scumbag Bellishit.
Wouldn't it be a bad thing if the Giants didn't make the playoffs? After all, it looked like they were the only team that really knew how to beat the Patriots last year...other teams had a chance but when the Giants play the Pats you know the outcome before it happens.
It's probably worth pointing out that the Ravens would've beaten the Pats if not for a pathetic end zone drop, and would've at least taken them to OT without an even worse missed chip shot FG.
but it wasn't any other play. the WR only has to win once = 6pts. Victor Cruz is fantastic. Wish he was a Jet. the dude was an UDFA- we should have grabbed him.
Victor Cruz ruined Christmas. Victor Cruz dances like a fruitcake. Ring or not I don't want that punk anywhere near this team.
Our entire 2011 season was just one nightmare game, that turned on one or two awful plays, after another. I wish I could Eternal Sunshine the whole thing.
