Ok I am usually jsut a lurker here but as you can see I do post from time to time. But I'll tell ya what guys...we have a plethora (3 Amigos) of talent and raw athleticism on this team. Our young guys are stepping it up, making plays, and fueled by a desire to be excellent. They are playing these pre-season games like it's the playoffs and january. Brad Smith, R. Newhouse, Kellen Clemens, Nugent, Blaylock, Houston...hell, even Bollinger has stepped it up. It seems that a little competetive spirit gets things going...and with this new coaching staff everyone is fighting for every position...it is creating a wealth of talent and good football players. I am VERY excited for this season. We are going to be doing big things in the near future. Playoffs or not this year, media love or not this year, legitimate QB and RB or not this year....you are going to see some hard hitting football and some playmakers out there. This time next year we'll be contenders.
im not worried about this season other than sorting out who our future stars are. im not overexcited...im a jets fan that is continuously beaten ont he head with soul-crushing history of defeat lol! but i'll be damned if we dont have A reason to be excited!
So this is how it works, after a bad game were the number 1 draft pick. After a good game, were the a playoff bound team. I get it now.
