Do you mean when there was an AFL and an NFL?

Actually, the Bills lost the AFCGC in 1988 to the Bengals, so they are actually 4-1, but point taken.....

Cowherd is a douche bag, but he has picked us to win several times this decade, including the year after the Doug Brien playoff game. If he is bias, it is because he can pick the Pats to win every year and be right. If your career was based upon having listeners take you seriously, would you pick the fuckin Jets? Give me a break, I give them a shot every year and they let me down.

Yep. And he's also a USC fan. So, up until the latter part of last season, he defended Sanchez with every ounce of his being. He even took callers (which is rare on his show) who were Sanchez haters so he could argue with them in defense of Sanchez.

PatsFanTX posted the records in the AFC Championship Game (forgetting the Bills AFCCG loss to the Bengals in 1988). Elijah referred to a time before the merger. If you like, I can include the AFL championship game records with the AFCCG.

    Bills - 6-2
    Jets - 1-4

I could see this happening. However, with the way the past twelve years have gone, I'll believe it when I see it.

I really like what the Bills did this off season with FA and the draft.

Also think Gailey is a very good HC.

Cowherd has been very high on the Jets when they have played well. he certainly has bouts of unreasonable arguments, but only a Jets homer would claim the Jets truly look poised for more than a 7-9 season. I think they will go 12-4 and are going to shock everyone, but that is because as a fan I focus on the potential of them doing the absolute best.

that makes the Jets fans who criticize this prediction the blowhards, not Cowherd.

...I enjoy listening to Cowherd when he's on if I'm in my car. ESPN radio is where it's at.
He was a pretty big Sanchez defender this past season. He might be a pats fan but I hear him making fun of their defense as much as he praises Brady and Belichick.
I expect 10-6 out of this years team with improved play by Sanchez and Greene. Tebow will get his time on the field but that's a positive if used correctly. If Stephen Hill can become a legit #2 his first year and Coples can get to the qb and dominate the trenches the Jets will be a very dangerous football team.

Guy is a "blow- herd" but I prefer when everyone hates Jets chances. Sneak up and lay he smack down
