Looking at their schedule, I can see the Bills going 9-7 by splitting w/the Jets & Pats sweeping the Fins and beating Jags, Rams, Colts, Chefs, and Browns. I think its pretty Fng plausible actually and I don't get why supposedly intelligent Jets Fans can't see the same thing. Sure - the Bills could spit the bit as usual and suck. However Gailey is a good coach and the Bills have seemingly done a nice job in the off-season. Heck lets hope Mario Williams destroys Brady on September 30th and suddenly its the Pats worrying about finishing over 500.
So if Tebow starts, were a 10 win lock? Why? He's that much better than Sanchez? Based on what? I'm not sure Tebow is 2 wins better than mark if he is at all. Who is this Kirkpatrick fellow ?
At least they got to the Super Bowl ... and most of their fans were alive when they did it. All the Jests have to show for the last 43 years is a couple of losses in the conference championships. Now that's really funny!
Oh, I would love Tebow to start from opening day! Get a clue, fool: NFL teams have figured out how to defense Tebow. You contain the run and force him to pass, which you defend with zone defenses so that your DBs have as much and perhaps even more chance of catching the ball than the WRs since Tebow's throws are usually nowhere near their targets!
don't mouth breather upstate single wide trailer Bills losers have some sort of Bills Fan message board to post on instead of making themselves look like idiots at TGG??
We could get 3 teams out of our division with the Ravens being bit by the injury bug, Steelers getting older - other teams from the AFC are going to step it up this season. I think the Jets have a great chance at sweeping the Bills because they still can't stop us from running the football, and Fitzpatrick always make bone crushing mistakes - Jets seem to always capitalize. Hopefully they end up splitting with the Patriots - As a Jets fan, we can't worry about what other teams are going to do, we need to beat them twice - it's a tough task but it can be done. But if your a Bills fan, you have to be excited about what Chan Gailey is bringing to the table. The Bills are out of the AFC East basement, the Dolphins will have a great time there continuing their awful decade+ of mediocrity. It's soo similar to the Jets before Parcells
How are the Bills out of the AFC East basement when they haven't finished better than last place since 07? They will be out of the basement when it actually happens, not after the offseason is over.
Absolutely agree with that. Bills finish at least 9-7 and make the playoffs as a WC team. Bills will be the Pats main competition in the AFCE for the next 5 years.
Bills still have to prove they can not falter down the stretch. It seems like every year they start off hot even if its only 2-0 or 3-1 and everyone proclaims them to make the playoffs, and they collapse at the end of the season every year. If they can put together a full season I could see them going 9-7, but I could also see them going 5-11. If I had to put money on it, 8-8 for the Bills, no playoff spot.
Dolphins team is in shambles man - I could see the Dolphins going 7-9 and the Bills having a worse record also, but at this point I don't see the Dolphins winning many games this season. No WR, questions at QB, defense is pretty good but you guys are going through a transitional period
I agree. I have no idea whether the Bills can pull it together to actually accomplish it, but look at that schedule, there is no doubt that it is possible.
I agree. This is the time for the Bills to get some wins. We always had excuses before, because our team was void of talent at quality positions. This is no more. Yes, the Bills now have the pieces to take the next step, but when the door is open for you, you still have to walk through it. We will see.
If we're going by supposed "curses" and using trivial trends from past seasons, then you guys won't win another Lombardi for a while.
Agreed. It's annoying having all these Bills fans coming out of the woodwork to post on this message board. I've never met a Buffalo Bills fan in my life. Do they exist outside the few on this board? The Bills have talent. They have weapons on offense and defense, as they should because they've had a high draft pick for the last decade basically. Their defensive line has a lot of talent on it, the runningbacks are good, Steve Johnson is a good receiver with a couple decent guys around him. And how will Fitzpatrick play? He's really an up-and-down quarterback. Bills fans like to diss Sanchez and Tebow, but Fitzpatrick had 23 interceptions himself, and he's 29 years old (30 by midseason next year). When he's good, he's a solid QB. When he's bad, he can be awful. I definitely think the Bills are better than Miami. I don't think that's even debatable. Bills vs Jets, there is at least a debate, but the Bills have no recent track record of having any success. I mean, Buffalo hasn't been above .500 since 2004. The question is how much better will the Bills' defense get. Offensively, maybe Buffalo with a tiny edge because of how good their running game is. Defensively, the Bills have a long way to go to reach the Jets. They have some pieces in place that should make them better, but right now, the Jets' defense has to be considered way ahead of Buffalo's.
What a fucking flame fest this board turns into in the offseason... Does any other team have a Message board? Lmao how pathetic they have to be to come here and flame
The funny thing is, Cowherd initially criticized the Mario Williams signing, saying that the Bills overpaid, especially based on his career production. The other day (I think it was on Sportsnation), he applauded the signing. He does change his opinion more than most analysts and media personalities tend to do (which he readily admits), but usually that's based on stuff as it has transpired. So, for him to flip-flop his opinion on the Mario Williams signing at this point in the Offseason, it seems a bit unusual and insubstantial. Having said that, he's probably predicting the Bills' success based on the Draft. Whatever.
