Hopeful predictions are nice and all that, but they will buy you a cup of coffee only if you also chuck in your dollar three eighty or whatever the cup costs anyway.
I would've preferred it if they looked to Jason Voorhees for inspiration for the motto... Kill Kill Kill Kill...Ha Ha Ha Ha...Ch Ch Ch Ch...........
Just one step faster...... I would have stolen the 6 million dolllar man line "Better, Stronger, Faster" Thats what the Jets are trying to become.....
Only if....It is a shame that after 4 years this is still potentially the weakest position on the field...
I don't know, I'd say OT and S were probably the weakest positions on the field last year but QB has certainly been questionable. I think the "One step faster" is particularly appropriate for Mark. If he can just be one step quicker with his decisions (I'm praying Sparano's system will help here) a lot of those turnovers from last season don't happen.
When it comes to Sanchez, the key to speeding things up is not physical. It is in his better reading the pass defense. I frankly do not know how he does that if he is really having an issue with it, as EVERY available indicator suggests. But I don't think it is a physical thing, unless you want to say his cerebral cortex is too slow.
I don't want to hijack this thread and we've had this debate elsewhere, but I'll just say quickly that I was referring to his mental, not physical speed.
This time I was not disagreeing with you. Heh. Yes, we both are talking about the same thing when we talk about him speeding it up.
The motto should be "One Step Phaster" because everything is better with a Ph. Davis will be used on blitzes as well as covering TEs. With his speed and the hopeful double teams on Wilk and Coples, he could be a very productive inside rusher.
