If we could get Upshaw, our pass rush would be incredible.

No Upshaw in round 1.... you're welcome Draft section of TGG. Been saying it for months.

PS At this point why not take curry if he falls to us and use more 43 looks?

Hill, Randle, Sanu, Jeffery, Martin, Glenn, Adams, Tru Johnson, Lamar Miller, Upshaw... Fall to us!!!! Anyone of those would make this draft solid!

Crazy. Remember when the first round used to last 5.5-6 hours? They basically cut it in half time-wise.

Liked how fast the draft was. Nice for it to be over before midnight.

That's what they said. Works for me...exam in the morning. That was lightning quick, I barely had time to scratch my head about Irvin before it was all said and done.

I thought Houston getting Mercilus and NE getting two big time defensive players were the best moves of the night.

    oh and Claiborne of course

For real. Hard to believe we'll miss out on all of them... might have to trade up

Somebody good will fall to us. Vinny Curry would be great. Mike Adams would be good.

No trade ups. Lots of holes to fill and we're swimming in a deep sea of talent here.

I tend to agree. I'm temped to go the route of hopping up or trading a future pick for an additional pick, but there are so many guys left that you know some of these guys will still be around at our pick.

That'll especially hold true if there are any more Irvin/AJ Jenkins type picks in front of us, as I'm sure there will be.

I find it hilarious that the people who were going to go bananas and kill people right in the eye if the Jets took Jones are now wetting the bed over New England selecting him.

For me, the Patriots have selected two solid players at positions where they were already getting good production. They might now be good for more years, but not better.

I agree. Very solid picks that should help to get that D out of the dumpster, but nothing completely mind blowing. The two of them will have to replace the production that they got from Andre Carter and Mark Anderson last year (10 sacks each). I think they'll do that and more, but it's nothing to shit your pants over like some people around here would lead you to believe.

I think the Browns will be relevant with there 2 picks. They got the best RB and a great QB. They need to find a WR still, but I like what they did despite getting a lot of hate.
