Rick Mirer wasn't really our fault. Tuna had no choice with zero notice in a season he was going for broke. Well, he broke.
Weirdly enough I spelled it out as "Mecca" but my phone auto-corrected me and changed it to Mecha. I guess my phone is against Arabs?
Eddie Brown (363 receptions, 6,134 yards and 41 TDs) is one of the top 50 worst draft picks ever? Too many of these selections are based on 'they could have had xxx instead' (Jerry Rice in the case of Eddie Brown). That's just lazy writing. It's easy to look back 20 years later and say who should have been drafted instead. I know it's Bleacher Report and I only looked at this because I'm in a state of draft frenzy at the moment.
I don't think so..his name is always brought up because people loved to compare him to Bob Hayes as they were both sprinters but he actually made contributions when he was here, just not enough. 2400 yards in 38 starts with 13 TDs and a 16.8 average. He was certainly no Bob Hayes but not as bad as a lot of others. Of course being drafted #2 overall is why he belongs on the list to begin with.
