You have to show up the nite before and wait on line to get a bracelet / wristband. Then you can get in the next day,,,,,yes they are free,,,,,,

I will be going day one and maybe day two. You have to wait in line on Wed starting around 10pm-12 midnight.

Is that how it is now? I went in '06 (Brick and Mangold draft) and got there at 6 am and was one of the first people to get a bracelet.

It's an awesome experience. Lot of NFL names just strolling along in the building. Remember seeing a few pros and radio personalities like Mike and Mike.

As soon as I got there, there was a guy handing out bracelets. It seemed so shady, but as soon as we left a group of Jets fans were right behind us. Maybe we went during a good year. Getting into the place was a nightmare. We got online 2 hours before the draft and we still ended up being one of the last few to be let in. We decided to walk around the city for a bit to kill time which ended up being a bad move.

Yeah, I am probably going to attend my first NFL draft.
Getting there around 5 or 6 is a good time to wait right?
How is the line set up? Should I bring like a chair or something?

It was much better on Saturdays. For people who actually have to work this couldn't suck more..unless maybe if you live on the upper east side.

I'm a little old school and prefer the Noon start on Saturdays, Rd 1-3.

Sunday at 11 AM, Rds 4-7.

Now it's all about ratings and the all-mighty dollar.

Yes, arriving between 5 and 6pm will be ok. Keep in mind you will be there till midnight.

They will not let you set up a chair so leave it at home.

I went to the draft the last 3 years. Your fine with getting there around 8pm to wait online, anyone who arrives earlier then that is wasting there time.
