Move to safety? Otherwise no clue why he'd be brought in.

Maybe competition for the dime position or a special teamer? Strickland is a FA.

Cole or Strickland. Rex likes his DBs and some of his defensive schemes he needs quite a few.

Rex likes to stockpile his corners. I'm sure that's all this is about. Bringing him in for certain packages.

Why not ! Its always good to have plenty of options in case you know someone starts thinking too hard again. plus as it was mentioned we do have some defensive packages where we flood the field with B-back's. If we can Lock up some spots before the Draft , it will only make our ability to get improvement and immediate impact player easier.

Johnson would be very solid as a #4 CB.

I thought we still had Strickland. If he's a FA, Johnson would be a solid addition. I didn have a problem with Strickland at dime-corner.

I like him as a STer or a 4th corner. Someone for Westy to use as a gunner on punt coverage probably.

Nice, after Revis/Cro/Wilson the Jets are pretty weak in terms of corner depth. Johnson could be a great #4.

Most teams in the NFL will be pretty weak after their 3rd CB. I thinks Jets top 3 CBs would easily be ranked top 5. how many teams have a #4 Cb that can wow you?

Our trio of CBs is a major strength on this team. I can't think of a better trio off the top of my head. This defense will be devastating if it ever gets a consistent source of pocket disruption.

Yup. Rex needs a new pass rusher and he'll get it on Thursday.

Revis and Cro are the best CB tandem in the league - bar none. Considering Cro is ranked in the top 10 of CBs last year, and we all know who is #1. Cro would be the number 1 CB on 25+ other teams.

If Wilson takes half the step he took from his rookie to sophomore year this year, this trio will be the best 1, 2, 3 CB combo league wide.

Having Strickland or Johnson - either of which is a legit #2 CB on 16 teams, would be outstanding. Retaining Strick and adding Johnson would be another bonus. We have excellent corners.
