At least here we have a separate forum for all the Tebow love/hate. Keeps the Jets forum unclogged for those of us that like to read about the team.

never said it was, simply said the fanbase was all thinking they were headed for another 12 loss season, so if you are going to lose 12 why not do it with they guy you are going to try to develop for the future. Hence the drama was by Denver fans not some silly influx of Gator fans as the OP insinuates.

Clooney and Pitt don't have a pronounced lisp and make overtly feminine gestures. Chicks may dig Tebow, but he doesn't appear to dig chicks.

How is his opinion any different then many of those here. Or better yet why is it any more special?

Your analysis is so pathetically biased that seeing the opposite end of the spectrum from a fan of his previous TEAM instead of seeing a frothing fanboy filling a scrapbook of idolatry with cherry-picked statistical arguments is a breath of fresh air.

Oh, by the way... do you know what you are to the people that regularly post on this forum? You're 'some random guy'. Aside from your dunderheaded tenacity, there is nothing special about your posts.

Anyone can make a bogus 'prospect' claim, but I noticed that your didn't post the important first 16 starts stats.
Must be using that crystal ball again?

W/L Record (what any NFL QB is ultimately judged by)
    Orton in 2010/11 4-14 --- Tebow in 2010/11 9-7

TD to Int Ratio (taking care of the ball in the NFL)
Or you can use their TD to Turnover Ratio if you'd like.

Pass Efficiency Ratings (the overall ability of a QB)

    Much less their running games....

    BO-Gus....

    PS

And whenever you compare Tebow Comp Percentage with anyone else,
you should really include the difference in the Yds per Completion numbers.

Sanchez isn't a virgin, he's been with kate upton, AND he enjoys going to see Broadway plays. Sanchez >>>>>>> Tebow here.

Orton was 10 and 5 in his first 15 starts. I'm not comparing stats I'm looking at bad footwork, a slow delivery, lack of comprehension and a lack of accuracy in his throws. There is nothing about Tebow's game that suggest NFL pro QB.

cant argue footwoork or recognition, although I feel they are both fixable. Slow delivery actually hasn't seemd to translate into sack/fumbles like people thought it would, accuracy is not good, but not bad for a 2nd year when you adjust for distance. He is actually pretty much righ in there with Bradford and McCoy. I feel he needs a year or 2 on the bench so the Jets is a good place for him to be. Hopefully they can tune him up into a decent passer and he will get another shot elsewhere when his contract is up.

Orton is a terrible leader. As soon as he felt pressure from Tebow he willted like the flower he was. It remains to be seen what Sanchez will do.

Sorry, sweetpea, but Orton did NOT alternate with Rex Grossman as a rookie QB the way you are implying. Grossman was hurt in the Bears first game of 2005 and Orton played the rest of those games. The Bears went 10-5 in 2005 with Orton, 11-5 for the season. They got Grossman back for the playoffs and lost.

Considering that through their respective first 47 GS Orton is better or equal to Sanchez in almost every category what does that mean you think of Sanchez?

Orton sucked during his rookie season. And they won in spite of Orton, which is why the dude couldn't keep his job and they felt the need to go back to Grossman. He sucked as a veteran. He still sucks. He will always suck. In Denver it was a lot more clear cut than with the Bears. They felt no need to keep Orton around once Tebow took over. They cut him loose right away.

LOL Kyle Orton...c'mon man... Orton was 6-22 in his last TWENTY EIGHT STARTS for Denver. How is that tebow's fault? wow...its not like Orton got yanked right away . The team completely quit on orton.

I go off the numbers. He's been mediocre his entire career too. Bottom of the NFL.

But they are nothing alike when it comes to postseason stats. Sanchez has a strong playoff resume which gives him a lot more pull and respect than Orton who has nothing to show. He's also had strong stretches of brilliance at times, including going for 5 or 6 games in the regular season without ever throwing an interception. Unfortunately recent play has kind of made people forget that, and his arrow is spinning at the moment. No way to know if it's pointing up, down or worse, flat.

I'd have a lot more faith with Sanchez in the playoffs. I have 0 faith with Orton. He's now at his point in a career, not just a mediocre quarterback, but the equivalent of a journeyman. His tenure in Denver was quite possibly the last chance of him maintaining a permanent starting position in the NFL. KC let him go too. Sanchez is at the very least officially still very much a franchise QB, with a franchise size contract, and very much still a Jet. Orto's already on his 4th team and I fear the easiest competition to start is behind him. He's only chance is Romo gets hurt.
