Guy clearly needs help, in addition to jail time.

I can't imagine how addicted he is to opiates that he basically posted bail and then went out to burglarize again. Sad, sad story. Being labeled the #1 NFL Bust of All-Time doesn't make getting clean any easier.

Probably takes the pain-killers for all the wrist problems he had late in his career. I imagine he'll be adding his name to those suing the league.

Not really. He injured his wrist with the Chargers and it never fully healed. He was in pain for the rest of his career, forcing him to retire at age 26 due to football- related injuries. He's been arrested for illegally buying a powerful painkiller and burglarizing houses looking for more painkillers. I didn't say I think he deserves it or that he isn't a miserable human being, but it appears he has some grounds for filing a claim.

Sadly, I've seen it happen. In the early '70s I knew some folks who popped pills like candy- couldn't live without them. They'd actually burglarize each other's houses, stealing their best friend's TVs and jewelry to trade for more pills. Whenever anything went missing we always knew where to look.

Not sure what's funnier...what a crackhead he is or the fact that he still has a publicist.

This is what happens when people who should never be rich become rich and their income source disappears.

Leaf's going to prison after getting kicked out of a drug treatment facility for behavioral problems.
