All i know is that with our 1st pick we NEED to select TEDDY GINN JR. ! without question or rebuttal

we're gonna go with a rb unless houston or blaylock can show something this year. My dream pick would be A Peterson but idk if thats likely.

Ideally, I would love to draft Calvin Johnson or A. Peterson,(Both will declare) but IMO, it would take a Top 5 pick to obtain one of those players. I believe the Jets are going to be a 5-11/6-10 team and that will put us out of the Top 5, more like in the 7-10 draft pick area.

A player to consider should be Marshawn Lynch, he's the same size as Curtis Martin and is being compared to LT. Quentin Moses would be an interesting option, he has passing rushing skills similar to Mario Williams, although quite a bit smaller(weight). If QM has another 12 sack season he will be a Top 5 pick also.

BPA...........RB, WR, DE/OLB. I'd wait till the 2nd or 3rd round for a runstuffer DT.

As long as we get a RB, WR and DT in the first 2 rounds I'll be happy. They don't necessarily need to be in that order, but I would lean towards grabbing the RB at the top of Round 1.

Only if the majority of the Juniors declare. IMO, the Senior Class is one of the weakest I've seen in many years.

Why? He's a great returner and college player, but he doesn't translate to the pros that good. All he does is run downfield really and take quick screens. He has a ways to go before he's an NFL receiver. He'll get mauled at the line with the slight frame as well.

Marshawn Lynch is awesome and the LT comparison's are right on par. He runs just like him with strong arms, and a strong lower body.

Kenneth Darby has impressed the hell outmof me the last 2 years. 'Bama is on TV seemingly every other week. All he does is....everything. He runs inside like Tiki Barber...he runs outside like Freeman McNeil and blocks as well as any Sr. college RB I have seen the last 10 years. Plus the kid is all heart and all about team.

Not a Top 5 player in the draft unless he comes on strong for the Heissman, but I would love him on out team.

He reminds me so much of Freeman McNeil it is scary...

Remember 2 nd rounders should allow us to be players in the late 1st round.

i second the Ted Ginn Jr. remark, our wideouts suck. Coles is overrated. at times he's good but we need a big playmaker

  13. There's a good possibility Ginn's pro position will be at CB, as he has much better skills for that spot. At WR he lacks route running ability.

If Adrian Peterson is off the board when we pick and Calvin Johnson is still available, we gotta take that kid.

Nice points TTB!!! Darby is an interesting player. He's been a very steady running back in luke-warm offense. I've heard nothing but glowing reports on his character and work ethic,(he was the Demarco Ryans of the Offense) probably be a late round 1st or early 2nd round pick. Remember, after the 1st tier of RBs, most usually slip some in the draft, due to you can find a solid RB in a later rd.

If the Jets could get.....Calvin Johnson in Rd1 and Kenneth Darby in Rd 2, I'd be estatic.

  16. Not if Cotchery develops into the # 2 reciever he's capable of being and Brad Smith continues to progress. At that point we should be looking at an RB like Kenny Irons/Marshawn Lynch or a hyrbid OLB like Gaines Adams.

Calvin Johnson and Darby would be an amazing draft.

Calvin Johnson is this years Keyshawn. He is a true men amongst boys and very possibly the first pick in next years draft.
