Vilma's a class-act all the way. He's just going to get better and better.

Vilma will be fine in the 3-4 scheme, the rest of the defense, not so sure about

Lets hope he progresses by the start of the season. He was nowhere to be found vs. Tampa. I fully believe he will be just as good though, great players find a way to make plays in any scheme and I think JV is a great player.

He needs interior linemen to keep Centers and Guards off of him. The Bucs defeated him last week.

He played the first half. When was the last time Vilma got credited with zero tackles and 2 assisted tackles?

If you put the right type of players around Vilma he will thrive in the 3-4. As much as the media likes to make it a big deal, the difference between schemes is not as great. The same problem of blockers coming out to get Vilma would be an issue no matter what type of defense we're running.

Not so fast. Vilma needs a DT to take on a lineman or 2 in order to be effective in a 3-4.

I am concerned on what we are bringing to the table on the D-line. I see big problems against the run.
