seems very pointless to me. We already have a squad of running backs that seems average to us right now and as time moves on, maybe blaylock, houston, or washington can prove they can handle the load. So I think the Jets should be patient and stop looking into running backs like Stecker or Suggs as they are in the same class as our current running backs. If we are going to make a push for a runner, why don't we try to get rid of one of our 2nd round picks for a runner who has run for more than a thousand yards. If we can't find one, just wait until the draft next year because neither Lee Suggs or Aaron Stecker is going to be our running back savior. I say release Blaylock and let Washington and Houston run our backfield.

totally agree with your last sentence. I say release Askew too since he'd rather run than block--FBs and TEs should know how to block--Askew and Jolley (2 Bradway gems) can't.

the one year he's not in camp is the one year we could actually use him. I mean he's no more than a backup but he plays with a lot of heart.

I think he's in camp somewhere else, possibly with the Giants?
