@AdamSchefter Jets-Broncos agreed to Tim Tebow trade before NY asked Denver to take back Bart Scott in the trade.
That just means that he didn't take the CPA exam to be called a CPA. I am sure he has plenty of accounting knowledge.
I saw that too. But there are some tweets saying Jets didn't read the contract or pick up on the 5 million. Obviously we don't know how trades work, but I would assume you want to look at the contract or the summary of it before making a trade for a player?
I still think this goes through...I can't imagine how it wouldn't..it may not happen legally (haha) but the ramifications can't even be imagined.
It depends on how much he keeps up with all the accounting concepts. I have an accounting degree and never took the CPA test. I can promise you I'd be 10000x smarter in the field of accounting if I had that license.
Adam Schefter ✔ @AdamSchefter More craziness filed to ESPN: Jaguars are back in the mix, seeing if they now can pull off a trade with Denver for Tim Tebow.
Also going to be really interesting how Jets clean this up PR wise if Tebow is not a Jet. How do they explain it? Can they get away by saying Denver witheld information?
If I had to put money on it right now.... I say Tebow goes to Jax... on another note, man this place really died down...
Personally I'm very excited about this move although I'm not sure that we can get very much for Sanchez. Maybe the Jags or Miami want him
Tanny deserves most of the blame, but you'd also think Denver would say up front what they're owed. Otherwise they're slipping us a contract and hoping we'd 'miss' that hang up. What other reason is there for not disclosing it? Again, Tanny deserves most of the blame, but Denver should prob be up front about that as well.
I thought this once Peyton signed in Denver. I was shocked when it was announced we were interested and then got him. JAX always looked better even though they just signed Henne and have Gabbert
I hope so. Hopefully the Jets get back to focusing on filling holes at need positions and creating some depth.
