    I believe the Jets thought they were trading for Tebow at almost no salary.

    The $5M has no cap ramifications because Denver already took the cap hit on the money. It's that the Jets thought they were getting Tebow at around a $1.2M salary, rather than $6.2M.

    Why? Explain yourself. It was a loan and the loan was made by Denver. Any cap ramifications should be Denver's or it should be based on the years the loan cover. What do you know that is different?

    Often times when people are clamoring for FOfirings and stuff I am there trying to keep it level headed amidst the many over reactions. However, not reading through a contract before announcing a trade????!!! Are you kidding? Send tanny walking NOW. That is absolutely inexcusable,what else could have been in that contract that they were just going to agree with without reading it????

    Geez, I cerrtainly hope that happens, but there will still be an unpleasant residue here.

    No matter what happens, I have even less confidence in Tanny and Woody than before today.

    If the extra $5M has no cap ramifications then why wouldnt the Jets just pay the extra $5M, Im sure they have it laying around.

    Just guessing that the money counts against the cap.

    If not, it would make no sense to balk at paying it out. TebowMania would make that money back by the start of the season.

    Jets-Broncos agreed to Tim Tebow trade before Denver asked NY to pay back portion of bonuses and salary already paid to Tebow.
