Tebow will lead the jets to promise land. Jesus will surely Smyth Sanchez next time he’s with a high school student, making Tebow the starting QB. It’s all part of the master plan.

The Jets can use Kerley to run the occasional wildcat. Pass.

I think with Sparano running the show the wildcat is going to be more than occassional. It's likely to be a fixture in the offense.

Stop being ridiculous. The guys IS a NFL player and while I don't love him as a QB, as a specialist type, wild cat, fullback, TE, type of player, he'd be very good.... 5th or 6th rounder? Not even close,,,, more like a 3rd, maybe even a 2nd.

Sparano may well see it differently, but it seemed to me he was using the wildcat as much as he did as a reflection of who he had, and did not have, on the roster. What he had was a good RB corps and Ronnie Brown in particular could run the wildcat. What he did not have was a good Qb who could get the ball down the field, until they may, emphasis on may, have found one in Moore.

Let's put it this way - if Miami had a top fifteen Qb, call me crazy but I think you would have seen much less of the wildcat.

That being the case, if Sanchez once again proves he is nowhere near a top fifteen NFL Qb, you may well be right and we could see a lot of the wildcat.

I still think Tebow would be an awful move for the Jets, though.

    5th....

As strictly a Wildcat option, he could take the offense to a whole new level in terms of forcing teams to prepare.

The people bitching about it, have got to be daft....Brad Smith was a pretty good College QB, and ran it pretty effectively....Tebow's a far bigger talent. Brad Smith looks like a WR, Tebow A FB.

I thought I had read something closer to $2 Mil. If your numbers are right and they'll take something in the later rounds + one of the guys we're trying to deal I think it's a great move.

It really sucks it has to be Tebow though. Hope the FO is taking into consideration the QB controversy they're creating if Sanchez continues to struggle this year.

Also - Kerley looked good in his limited touches in the WC last season. I think the kids gonna have a big year, and probably has a better arm then TT. ;)

Mine came from ESPN so they are probably totally wrong. That was the discussion on their 4 PM NFL show yesterday. I know those were his base numbers and there may be some bonuses on top of that, what I don't know is if they are performance bonuses, signing bonuses or roster bonuses.

Base numbers would be all that matters. With the number of Jerseys Woody would sell, I'm willing to bet he'd be with ok with any monatary compensation that doesn't blow the top off the sal. cap.

We finally start to settle things down in Jetland now this Crap, again if the Broncos who are a superior franchise don't want this circus then why would the Jets even consider this.

Why can't they just run this organization like the Steelers do? Quietly and professionally.

It's so frustrating being a fan of this organization!!!

Woody likes attention. A loud mouth coach and now a savior from the lord.

You beat me to the punch. I was going to say Denver should hold out for the final option only if Mangold was included.

I would like this only fora very late round (6th) Bart and Wayne Hunter. Cut all the dead weight give one of our conditional picks. It won't happen for one shitty player an old one with a massive contract and a basically useless pick but a man can dream.

The New York Post would trade a 1st rounder for him.
