With most of the big name O-Linemen off the market, we should definitely be taking a look at this guy. However, I haven't heard Collins and the Jets together yet.

Yeah, I posted a thread about him in the NFL forum pre-FA. Might be starting to get to that tier of free agency now. He could be a good pick up. He's seen limited playing time but has potential to at least provide good depth at RT and LT.

It's hard to read the front office on the RT position.

It's just absurd. We were absolutely FUCKED when Mangold was injured last year. The whole fan base was going apeshit because they did absolutely nothing to shore up our offensive line depth.

Hunter played like dog shit, he should be unemployed. I don't know why we are giving him another shot. It was obviously we need OL depth/help but yet we have done nothing (so far)

Im not the happiest about our O line but the "titanic is sinking people" need to learn the diff between man and zone blocking schemes before you write off the people on our roster.

The failure to address the OL issues thus far is surprising, but i have faith in Tanny to TCB.

I truly hope I'm wrong but I believe Tanny has a difficult time admitting he has either made a mistake or has incorrectly assessed the talent of players on the roster. If he is banking on Hunter getting his head out of his ass and Ducasse becoming the player we had hoped he'd be , then that's a big gamble.

Lack of depth and HUnter and Ducasse on the roster has nothing to do with a blocking scheme. It needs to be upgraded dramatically regardless

It really is a shame the FO seems to be 'confident' (delusional?) in the RT position. Collins should come relatively cheap and the guys over at PFF LOVE him, saying that while he has a small sample size he could progress into a solid RT for some time.

That being said - we STILL don't have a serviceable RT on the Roster...

Here's the link to the thread I posted about Collins. It has all the stuff I could find about him and why I think he'd be a good fit.

Like I said, I just can't see Hunter and Ducasse as who this regime is going to hang its make or break year on. They're definitely acting weird towards the line. I'm starting to lose faith, but I will hold out until I see the full plan realized after the draft.
