YES I think we are doing NOTHING,, NOW with Mario Williams in Buffalo,, Wayne Hunter should be shitting himself in his pants,,, TANNT WAKE UP. We should have signed Winston from the Texas,, Mario is going to KILL Wayne for two games and kill our QB.
Winston is still a FA... he was due 5.5M from the Teaxans....if he wants that much from somone else its going to be too rich for us this year
Jet's looking to trade Wayne Hunter to the NJ DOT for the following: While it's not a splashy move, the blocking can't possibly be any worse.
Now I have to look at a couple of thousand Williams Jerseys when I go down to the mistake by the lake and watch the Bills/Jets games....great! At least the long suffering bills fans have something to cheer about before the season begins! I repeat....before the season begins....
Next season will be a disaster. Sheeple, Gang Green die-hards, roll your eyes, call me names, stomp your feet, do whatever you did the last time I said down the stretch this team will fold last year. Because I'm doing it again, this time well before the season begins. We're essentially going into next season with the exact roster than got us to 8-8. Anyone who thinks that because these locker room issues appear to settled we will be getting better is in for a seriously rude awakening. Cool, we hired Sparano to run our offense. We still have absolutley zero running game, holes all over the right side of that line and nothing at running back. Sure, we're obviously going to draft somebody, but look at our current draft record with Tanny in charge. Horrible. Sanchez and these receivers. Sanchez is mediocre. Deal with it. His go-to end zone guy is gone, and now we have one receiver who throughout his career has been a knuckle head and a kid in the slot. This isn't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. This is Mark Sanchez. There will be in no shape or form any improvement at all without any sort of running game or skilled receiver after Holmes. Pass rush. There still is none. I full expect this to be addressed with our first pick in the draft, and hopefully that kid will be a starter from day one. Safeties. Another serious weakness. We have nothing back there, at all. Jim is okay, nothing special, and he's been injury prone the last few seasons. After that? Absolutely nothing. And to address that need we brought in a guy who couldn't even stay with the Bears for half a season. Good work. All in all, this is what you get when you mortgage everything to get a QB who had an abundance of question marks and really showed nothing in college to warrant a 5th overall selection. On top of that, throwing huge amounts of dollars to two corners, and then going all in on vets and somehow expecting an extremely young, inexperienced QB to lead this team to the promise land and control that locker room.
Sucks that the offseason is over and Jets aren't attending the draft. What a joke, kinda like this thread.
Airstrike, I'm going to throw a baseball glove at you. We're gonna win. WE'RE GONNA WIN!!
yea...being happy before the season begins is way better than being happy after it. Redskins fans must be the happiest c-suckers in the NFL.
guys, this is one of those threads you ignore and let it fall off the front page and never hear about it again... Just let it die.
it is a proven fact that young players do not improve form one year to the next, so how good a player was last year is as good as they will ever be. deal with it.
yep Mo Wilk has clearly peaked. Kerley is burnt out Greene is over the hill You hardly even hear Revis's name anymore during the games
This is the same type of shit the jagoff Giants fans were saying last year during FA. They also wanted their coach fired mid season if I recall.
I don't think they win a game for the next 4-5 years,coming off an 0-16 2011. I don't know what to do.
