According to The Post, the NFL athlete and his wife were at a Manhattan nightclub early Sunday after attending a charitable event, when he got into a fight with a group of friends celebrating a birthday bash. Around 4 a.m., the birthday girl Christin Myles, 24, left her upper floor party spot to greet a friend downstairs. When Myles tried to return, she was not immediately let back up. A bouncer reportedly told Myles that Marshall, 27, and another football player were fighting and getting thrown out of the club. Myles found Marshall and the unknown athlete afterward, arguing with her friends. Marshall allegedly hit Myles in the left eye. It wasn’t clear if Marshall meant to hit the woman or if he was aiming for someone else, reports said. “While attempting to leave the melee, (Marshall’s wife) was struck in the face by a thrown bottle,’’ Harvey Steinberg, Marshall’s attorney, said in a statement. “She suffered serious injury. The mayhem continued outside.” Steinberg said the fight did not involve his client or companions. The Post said Myles filed a report about the incident. However, Marshall’s representative declined to say whether Marshall filed a police report about his wife’s injury. It was announced Tuesday that Marshall was traded to the Chicago Bears. This is not Marshall’s first run-in with the law. According to The Post, he has a history of arrests that includes disorderly conduct, drunk driving, and domestic violence. Marshall was stabbed less than a year ago in the abdomen with a kitchen knife during a domestic dispute. Marshall’s wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was arrested but charges were later dropped.
This happened two days before he was traded, so it isn't that he couldn't wait to get in trouble, it's that he got in trouble and the Dolphins couldn't wait to dump him as quickly as possible. Presumably Chicago knew about this and made the move anyway, but who knows?
If Miami dumped him so quickly, maybe Chicago didn't know about it. It could explain why they settled for two 3rd rounders rather than trying to get a bit more from the Bears.

What a piece of shit, I can't stand that scumbags like Marshall (Chris Brown) get a free pass on this behavior because of their celebrity.
He says he didn't do it, he says he wasn't involved, he says he never threw a punch and he hasn't been arrested for anything. Maybe there are two sides to the story..especially when one side is a filthy rich athlete and the other is..whatever the other is?
Or perhaps you can read the article before rushing to judgement? So untill this plays out with the police and possibly corts, can we wait to find him guilty?

Marshall's wife got bottled not surprised to hear he snapped and tried to beat someone up. Not that that's justified. Guy's a looney tune.
Oh there is no doyubt Marshall has mental problems. If he does have borderline personality disorder as was reported last fall than he has very serious ones that can often lead to rash acts of violence. I just have my doubts about a report from a night club involving athletes and women untill I hear the whole story come out. Could it be true? sure. I'm jsut not rushing to judgement, unless its a story about Brady at a gay bar with Gronk.
Why? He's an alcoholic with a long history of violent behavior. He's been suspended by the league, and will face further suspensions for any future arrests. Even if he wasn't in this fight his general behavior has always been poor. They also cleared 9M in cap space by dumping him.
My indictment of Marshall was completed way before this story came out. This is just another example of scumbag being a scumbag.
