its really not that much. he gets extra 8 mil or so. we can still dump him after 2013 if he doesnt take the next step. by doing this we are getting some cap room to work with to get a pass rusher, safety, #2 receiver, and LBs

we gave Pennington 64 million a bit prematurely too and he never collected it. Injuries were a part of it bur he was not all they originally thought he was. The Jets made a schrewed deal. They basically extended SANCHEZ and got 6.7 million for their cap.
