Looks like the #4 pick might be a little more in question.

Reason #174714713245174 not to do a FF team before week 3 of the preseason....

I'm glad someone said this. I'm probably getting burned for dropping out of the TGG Football League with this reasoning. Makes no sense to me. No one wins.

As for the real life consequences of the injury, I think Portis will be good to go soon enough. I'm waiting for an official time period.

If I played a money league, then I would wait for a Pre-Week 3 draft, but otherwise, I don't care. It makes it a challenge for me if I have to find someone through free agency or conduct a good trade to make my team better.

Portis became more of a power runner last year and complained about shoulder pains due to the more pounding he took. He should be good to go but this shoulder injury could spring up again in the future, so the Redskins need to be careful about his workload.

He should only be out a few weeks, if it truly is just dislocated, and not torn or anything. I have the #1 pick in my big leauge (12 teams, $350), so maybe I'll nab LJ/LT then be able to get Portis with my second round pick. That would be pretty sweet, barring the injury doesn't keep him out more than a week of the regular season.

It wasn;t even totally dislocated, it was a subluxation which means the bone slips out of the joint then goes back in.

Dude I dunno that looked like a better tackle than any of our Linebackers had during the Herm Edwards era. I was proud.
