Its a deep draft for WRs, look at Kerley we got him in the 5th and he was a more than productive guy last year. Hell he looked like the only WR on our team who didnt suck donkey dick. I think we can definitely get a productive WR long as we draft him in the first 5 rounds. If we can ease him in while signing someone like Braylon all the better.
Here I will somewhat agree with you. While I don't think by league standards there has been an above average amount of lack of continuity, and you leave out that Keller has been here all three of those years, and LT the two most recent, but having said that, Turner seems like a good #4 wideout, and brining him back does add to overall continuity. Since Burress is likely gone, they will have to add a #2 already, although that might end up being Edwards, meaning more continuity. Then they can get rid of Keller. Heh.
UPDATE: According to nyjetscap the Jets gave him a 250k signing bonus. I guess this makes it a little more likely he makes the team... http://www.nyjetscap.com/patrickturner.html He's got a 0.9 cap number... significant for a guy who's supposed to be the #4 WR.
Marqus Colston the dude causes match up nightmares on the outside and is a sure handed wide out with a big frame and huge wing span. I just cant see the Saints letting him go. So now lets take a look at Robert Meachem. He can also get downfield and has great spead. somthing were lacking. Hes not a huge target but standing at 6-2 210 lbs thats not a small wr.
I would LOVE Colston to come to the Jets. He went to Hofstra. It would be like a homecoming. Between him and Santonio, they could really stretch the field and make huge plays on play action if we get the running game going.
Yep...he came in and came up big with Holmes sulking on the bench.....We still had a shot at that time. I like Turner as our 4th. Like others said, huge red zone target. I think he might contribute a little more this year.
