We can defeat the entire NFC West at the same time. Just need a new penalty for 45 men on the field in case they try to sneak an extra linebacker (Gholston) into the game!

from what i've noticed over the years with both new york teams actually is that they tend to play better when their not expected to do much as opposed to when they have high expectations.

let the giants own the city and be the ones getting all the publicity this offseason and summer, it's a blessing in disguise, hopefully the jets make the most of it fly under the radar without being in the headlines every 5 minutes for the most unnecessary stuff.

on that note, the giants and classy in the same sentence is comedy. for a team that was making a nice run to the super bowl, they sure seemed to mention the jets quite a bit. now i could see them taking exception to the things said this season but the jets season was long over, i wouldn't even be worried about them anymore if i was on the giants.

The expectations of this year made it all that much more painful. I will still root for them, but I'd rather not set myself up for breaking walls and losing my voice every sunday. :drunk:

I'm hoping Rex & Co. will plan a progressive & systemic approach to correcting issues on both the O & D. On the "O", a commitment to proper pass-blocking/protection techniques & raising their ability to get off the blocks quickly on the run by the OL as well melding them into a cohesive unit. Also, incorporating an Off game plan that maximizes the talents of the O's skill-set players; gmd&pnd is fine but don't shy away fr opening the field w. dwnfield passing. Allow Mark, which the general consensus has given him a final opportunity to "sho' & proove", to get a lil' "Eli/Drew/Aaron" freedom.
On the D, focus on QB pressures & run-gap plugging. Tho' our pass "D" was 5th in the league, strive to improve. Revert back to your brilliant D-game strategy U developed to stop Gay-dy & the Gaytriots last year & build on that.
Most of all, maintain control of the team. Nip any & all BS. Cut those who are not performing/producing regardless of whatever ties/bonds U had. If U gonna' continue to still "talk loud", carry a "big stick" also.
I'm just yr avg ol'-time Jet-junkie who want's to see it happen.

    MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!

    'Nuff said!

This year I have a lot more faith. Last season never felt right, I never thought we could make it to 3 straight championships game. I knew we were gunna take a step back. Definately feel we will be back in the playoffs, barring Peyton going to the Dolphins.
