    I think we will be much better just because of our schedule. We play the NFC west this year.

    The part where I bolded is very spot on! Giants fans aren't loyal at all. Jets fans are more loyal than the Giants (even though Packers is considered to be the most loyal fanbase in the NFL).

    I don't understand why these Giants are so obsessed with the Jets? Giants should worry about their own team and not their stadium rivals.

    Although we have to watch out for San Fran since 49ers are staging a comeback. Even though 49ers lost the NFC Championship, they are a team to look out for next season.

    Great...unless they win the Super Bowl next year, this year is by far the most embarrassing season in franchise history.

    I've never felt this down as a Jets fan and I've lived through Walton, Coslet, Byrd, fake spike, Rick Mirer, Herm, Brooks Bollinger. We've reached complete rock bottom as a franchise.

    I'm happy it's the off-season. Easier to look at the positives ahead of us.

    We may be 0-0, but we're back in the same place we were three years ago now emotionally and in fact because of the events of this season. I never would have thought after beating the Pats out of the playoffs that just one short year later we'd feel like dirt again.

    ^You say that like we're devoid of talent. NYJ will be a contender again

    We need help on the offensive line. We need another running back. We need at least one more reliable receiver and probably two. We need an actual pass rusher (we've been saying that for like fifteen years, since Abraham). We need a safety. And we need the QB to play much better and the coach to actually you know, coach. And we're still up against the cap.

    No, we're not devoid of talent but it sure ain't the team it was two years ago either.

    Apparently Jets were $7-10 million under the cap at the end of this year. They can cut some guys, they're in okay shape. I agree, S WR2 OLB RT need new personnel. I think Greene/McKnight will be a solid tandem next year if they stay healthy.

    Although this was a very disappointing season, perhaps the mostly disappointing in recent memory, the Jets are far from rock bottom.

    Don't believe the hype. Lets just hope the Jets shut up and get down to business

    FA = Safety & RT
    Draft = impact OLB

    need TE/WR & RB

    All of this is very doable, and we don;t need to make a big splash

    I will be pissed if we have a thursday game week 2. I could see us having to play the Seahawks on a thursday which would blow.
