    I was reading Bill Simmons post super bowl column and he mentioned Bernard Pollard.

    So I knew Pollard took out Brady's knee in 08. But apparently he also made the hit on Welker when he blew out his knee the last game in 09 and he made the hit on Gronkowski with the high ankle sprain.

    That is eerie. Talk about the chances.

    Yes, we talked about that in the AFCCG thread. Abyzmul made the comment - one in which I fully support - that the Jets need to sign him immediately!

    I said to sign Pollard last year but we didnt cuz we chased Asomougha.

    Nobody touched Welker when he blew his knee out. Quite tenuous to tie that to Pollard.

    I thought Welker fell, and then Pollard landed on him? Or maybe he was just the closest defender, and Welker slipped due to his presence. I forget which, or why he's blamed for that.
