I like Kellen a lot, and he was impressive in the game, but it is just preseason, and I never read much from preseason games.
Have watched KC 'alot' since HS. I thought Akili Smith and Joey Harrington were better college QB's but have felt KC will be better than them (well...duh) at the pro level. Reason, he has a Linebacker Mentality. He's got a quicker release. He's played under four OC's in five years so he's extremely adaptable. He's a NBL (natural born leader). Oregon had two of the 10 Top Rated HS QB's in the nation his senior year. Duck coach wanted him over Derek Anderson (back-up NFL qb now) for his leadership and intangibles that 'can't be measured.' I'm still worried that New York will chew him up but he's generally very durable, thrives in inclement weather (whereas those pretty boys from southern states struggle) and isn't afraid to grab a 'team mates face mask' and toss a few verbs'n'spittle to get them on track. His work ethic is absolutely ridiculous. I still have no idea how good he'll be at this level but I'm on the Jet-Train because of him.
You don't think Clemens looked good? He showed great poise in the pocket a great arm and great touch. I'm really happy with Clemens
