Rex has credibility. His mouth has none. As long as he makes continuous improvements in the Jets performance he'll continue to have credibility, and while he doesn't get a pass for last season he certainly gets a do-over. His mouth however is never going to have credibility. I don't believe a single word he says at face value. That's because he'll say anything once a mic is in his face. Rex is like the anti-Belichik - he says so much that turns out to be garbage that he can say anything without giving anything away.
We're just going to have to learn to roll w/the punches with him because he is going to get killed for anything he says
Really? So you think that when a coach publicly admits he's lost his team... has a captain he appointed (that no one else would have) get benched after arguing in the huddle with the qb, something Ryan still appears unwilling to really address except to try to spin rosy pictures about how it wasn't that bad... has player after player going to the press and blasting the team ...you don't think that is going to lead to a credibility problem in the locker room? Really?
