Media Relations can make folks do alot of things they probably wouldn't do left to their own devices. Perhaps Sanchez and Holmes are pals, perhaps not. I don't buy it until I see it and the absolute LAST thing I would ever believe on faith is a press release put out by the NY Jets.
I won't believe anything until Week 1. Fans sometimes forget that Sanchez and Holmes, at one point, did in fact have chemistry. I hope they can reclaim that chemistry (hopefully with an improved #2 receiver)

That's why I said I hope we bring him back. Something this team needs are leaders in the locker room. Pouha is one, if we don't bring him back his production is replaceable but I'm not sure his value to the team in other areas is.
Bring back Braylon or someone to actually draw attention away from Holmes so he can be one-on-one with his man and you'll see that again.

That would really leave us thin at WR. If you think Sanchez had a bad '11, cut Holmes and Sanchez might as well take '12 off as he'll be painfully short on optioins.

For the short time they've played together they've done a lot of good. They're both grown men who make a lot of money and need each other to be successful, I don't see what the big deal is that can't be figured out.
The Jets need a legit deep threat. Braylon was that guy. Kerley is shaping up to be a good #3. I think Braylon, Santonio and Kerley would make a good group. If not Braylon, then someone else, but having a slow old man like Plaxico will not work.
