I can sell my soul and make a pick for NE I guess. I think a certain QB from Boise St would look good in NE
He did look maxed out, its probably better for his career if he goes to a 4-3 team. Hed be able to show off more of his skill sets there. And if that DT gets out of the second I will be absolutely stunned. It just shouldnt/ wouldnt happen.
Hopefully the pick happens before 10PM EST so I can get this Bears pick in rather than wait the dreaded overnight/morning where my problems usually happen.
I wanted to get Worthy for pure value but the Patriots have NO safeties at all. Chung is good but they need a FS next to him. Martin can come in and start on the defense and be an instant upgrade over there practice squad players. I also looked at WR and CB but Martin was the best pick in terms of value and need.
There was a "big body" guy I considered for the Jets...but IMO, we will resign Pouha and 3rd Rd pick last year killed that action.
Heh Randle was one of the two guys I considered for NE. I think I would have went with the other one though
My choice was Brown vs Miller. I assume you think the Browns should have taken Miller. Part of me regrets that pick, but that defense really needs some help, too, and a young linebacker to build around will really help. A young runningback would help, too, but I feel those are easier to find.
I like the Randle pick, both he and another on the board have everything you'd want in a #1, just raw. Once he gets some coaching, he could be Cutler's new Brandon Marshall...
I think I can guess the player you're talking about. Assuming you're not referring to a potential nose tackle, I actually considered him with the Bucs pick.
I like the Randle pick as well. He definitely is raw but with a good QB he should excel. I think he could come in and easily be their #2. There were a few WRs I liked left on the board where the value was right, he was one of them.
Johnny Knox, Rueben Randle, and Earl Bennett could make for a nice group of targets for Jay Cutler. Only sad thing is that the Bears decided to trade Greg Olsen last offseason because he wasn't a good fit for their offense. Thanks Mike Martz.
