Since there is some chance the Giants will lay a career ending injury on Brady, that might be reason enough to watch. As for the OP, originally I was planning on making burritos, which would require at least some tequila, but now I am thinking mid winter barbecue, like pork ribs, burgers and dogs. With that I would go for bourbon, on the rocks. Probably Old Grand Dad or Rebel Yell. Nothing fancy. What's to celebrate? I probably wouldn't even watch except that the wife and I have been hosting SB parties for a few years now, and I don't want to look like a crybaby and not have it this year just because of the teams in it. So yeah, they can all come over, eat my food and watch their shitty game, and I will drink bourbon. That'll work. Watching soccer with Hispanic guys is awesome. They get so into every little play. I remember back in 2006 when I was still working at Sears, I spent the whole World Cup in the electronics department with Hispanic guys who worked in the mall just watching the games... great times.

Like a few others, I'll be drinking just because it's superbowl sunday, not to kill pain. But I'll probably go with some Southern Tier 2x IPA. If you haven't already tried it, I highly recommend it - great brew.
Dat Henny White But because i drink on most weekends, not because my team was super shitty second half of the season, or because it's the pats and giants. Super bowl to me is always a good time to get together with friends and family regardless of who's playing. EDIT: Plus my family's laying down bets on which Puerto Rican will have a better game(Cruz or Hernandez). That should be fun
