Shaun Ellis would be the most heartbreaking, however I hope the Pats absolutely stomp the Giants. What the hell does one more ring for the Patriots mean at this point? It beats having to deal with these fairweather giant fan motherfuckers running around with their new shirts they just bought yesterday. I don't know any Patriot fans however.

Rooting for the Jets is like being on the battered end of an endless domestic violence dispute. Your love continues to beat you, degrade you, and make you feel hopeless, yet you just keep crawling back for more, cause its all you've got.

He was a free agent and the Jets offered him a valid deal for his current talents.

If I were a Jets fan, this is how I would probably feel, although you hate the Pats, they are already considered the "class of the AFC" whether they win or lose the SB, and if you live in the NY area you'll have to spend an awful lot of time listening about how great "big brother" is.

You also don't have to root for NE to hope Ellis wins a ring, as I see many of you commenting on. I think you can cheer for players without endorsing the team itself, if it sucks that much, cheer for Ellis while still wishing all the ill-will you usually have for NE.

Weatherford leads the poll, but I have to believe that is because those people don't want the Giants to win next Sunday. Although, he is a super tool.

I think it's more because has taken the typical Giants approach to class. What does Westhoff have to do with him being in the Super Bowl? Nothing so why take a shot at him and the Jets. Honestly I never had an opinion on the guy until he started taking shots at us. If not for Westhoff he probably wouldn't even be in the NFL so he can fuck himself. He's not some exceptional Shane Lechler type, he's a fringe guy and nobody really gives a shit what he thinks.

They're all great dudes that helped the Jets until the Jets said C-ya.

Why are people upset that the Jets low-balled Ellis. They offered him shit and it was a slap in the face.

Many care.....I especially care if the Giants LOSE. 'Cause I want them to lose.

Let Brady and Bellichoke have their 400th ring. They're both headed(undeservedly in Bill "Spygate Master" Bellichek's case) to the HOF regardless.

No one on that Giants team deserves to even have their name and the HOF in the same PARAGRAPH.

I don't have anything against these guys. Its more like who do I want most to get a ring out of those?

    Ellis x 100000000000000!!

But its all moot, since I want the Giants to win :)

But man, some of you guys have some seriously misguided hate going on.

i'd go with weatherford for running his mouth.

ellis gave the team 11 good seasons, the team gave him a lowball offer when he wanted to come back while the patriots gave him a significantly reasonable offer. i can't blame him for leaving, it sucks he went to the patriots but in a league where the teams loyalty to players is minimal most of the time i can't blame him for doing what was best for him money wise.

He didn't ditch us, our stupid FO didn't pay him what he was worth.

First, Ellis did not "ditch" the Jets. The Jets FO made him a ridiculous offer.

Second, at what point in the season did it look like the Jets were going to "take over the division?"

Rex guaranteeing it in training camp doesn't count.

Week 10, the Patriots lost back to back games and the Jets won back to back games. The Pats came to play a night game @ the Meadowlands.

The other guys were all scrubs who got a chance to play somewhere.

Ellis on the otherhand was a former number one pick and lifelong Jet who betrayed us and went to our hated division rival.

It would be like Jason Taylor playing for the Jets for a year and then to come crawling back to the Dolphins the following year.

Ellis didn't betray us. OUR FO didn't even give him an offer, or gave him an offer as a slap in the face. Did he deserve big money? No. He just went where the $ was at so he could keep playing. Kinda like Victor Green.
