Namath told the trust we should get over it and move on. He has more right to speak than anyone associated with the Jets walking this earth. Unfortunately the truth hurts.

Yes the NYJs organization has brought themselves down to 20 year homers who see nothing wrong in the constant losing of the NYJs. For those not counting it is now 43 years since we anything in the NFL

The HBO special on Namath will air on 1-18-12 at 9pm. I'm looking forward to see how he's portrayed.

Joe keeps winning and the Jets keep losing, and that has the "New Jets Fans" in a tizzy.

If Joe was Greg Buttle, and he continously towed the company line, and was continuously wrong, like Buttle is, nobody would say boo.

But Joe Namath happens to be right. And that chafes the "company liners". The idiots like sg3 and others on here who think that losing is good enough.

Joe called it back in September. So did I.

And the Jets finished 8-8. Missed the playoffs.

But, some on this site will say they were "good enough"

I assume that doesn't leave your posts until the Jets win it all, right?
