What really makes this worse. What started this hot streak? A 8 yard pass that became 99 yards. Without that this wouldn't be happening. I'm hoping Tom Brady DESTROYS the Giants.

I'm with you here. I thought they were both great games, and both of them turned on player mistakes. Welcome to sports.

There was no penalty on Devin Thomas as he was pushed out of bounds and was not the first player to touch the ball. The announcers sitting there with full view of the play didn't mention it, no one is mentioning it today because it was a play where the Giants commuted no foul. People can bitch all they want about the whistle on Bradshaw, they also blew the muff off Williams leg dead a play that had they called it a fumble on the field would've been a td for Thomas

You can watch any game and birth about calls and spew it to your rooting interest. I remember a jet hater I was watching the game @ Indy last year bitch on that final drive that Edwards pushed off the db, his hate skewed his brain as the guy didn't push off

I am not a Giants fan by any means, not even close. But at least some of the complaints by Jet fans sound a bit too much to be more about finding a distraction from the problems that exist in the Jets.

You cannot advance a muff, whether they blew the whistle dead or not Thomas couldn't advance it. The Bradshaw awful call was the difference btw winning and losing. If it happened for us I'd celebrate the title just as much but I'd also acknowledge we got away w/ one like you guys did.

    1) thomas couldn't return the muff as stated otherwise that would have been a brutal blown call by the refs.

    2) It isn't wrong to say you got lucky that the Bradshaw play was called dead. The most important part is that you took advantage of any breaks and chances you got. Luck doesn't mean anything if you don't take advantage of it. You got lucky, but more importantly you took advantage of your chances.

Ahhh you can't advance a muff, just like you CAN touch the ball coming out of bounds as long as someone else touches it first...point made. Can't make up rules to skew it how you want

Refs blew whistle as he was headed backwards, there was no fumble they blew it dead, would you whine if his forward progress was stopped yet they did t blow it and he broke free for an 80 yard td? My guess is you would recite the rule to its tee, which is what they did in this case

they beat the Packers who were 15-1 and had only lost 1 game in their last 24 games..AT lambeau...by double digits. how was this super bowl trip gift wrapped? you sound like sour grapes.

and they beat the Patriots who were 18-0 and had one of the greatest teams in NFL history in the super bowl. just stop man.

After the post-season the Giants have had, are you REALLY go to say they've benefitted from officiating? Bill Leavy would like to thank you for thinking he did a good job.

I ribbed a few Jet-fan-friends, I'll admit. These were the same guys, however, that were saying "man, what a great playoff win for the Jets. Who do the Giants play next week?" for the last two years. Some Jet fans brought this on themselves. Conversely, some Giant fans are just dicks.

I think it's also tempting to take shots at the Jets because of how much Rex Ryan has chirped (specifically about the Giants). And yes, I know it doesn't insult Ryan if you talk smack to fans, I just don't think everyone else knows this.

Really? Boo fucking Hoo...the big bad Giants fans are making you cry when you know damn well you would be doing exactly the same to them if the fortunes were reversed...get over it.

I'm sure I can dig up a "Giants fans are classless" post somewhere.

someone has been listening to Carton trying to create a controversy. Too bad it's been debunked all over the place. One he was pushed out of bounds and got back in the moment he was able to, then he wasn't the first to touch it.

    Start watching at :41

He was pushed out of bounds and came back when he found an opening in between two niner players as soon as he could. Well, well short of the 30 yards you are trying to sell.

Nice try though. There's always an excuse when a team you don't like, wins. What about the Jets having teams mail it in so they could make the playoffs in 2009, I'm sure you weren't crying about things being gift wrapped. Selective memory.

    Watch the video...

Ok, I can't post videos...type "Punt Fumble off Kyle Williams Knee in 49ers Giants game" in youtube and watch the video posted by click2moviesfast

the video thoroughly debunks your claim.

A 7-3 game to overcome in the 2nd quarter was entirely too much for the Giants. You're right.

the claims and excuses being thrown around these boards are simply childish.

who is changing anything? you can't advance a muff, I apologize you don't know the rules.

The Bradshaw fumble was clear as day, they blew the whistle a half a second after he got hit. I saw multiple ginat pileups while they were ripping at ballas as Niners went backwards w/ no whistle.

It's ok to admit you got some luck, you need luck sometimes. It was the difference btw us losing at Pitt and you winning in SF.

The Giants have played well but 2 muffed/fumbled PRs? 2nd time in 5 years in OT a bad TO set up the Giants for the winning FG. The awful call on the Bradshaw fumble- it was giftwrapped.

and yes it is sour grapes, I'd love to have those gifts just once.

I know you got one meaningful call against you, giant fans are like duke fans. You get the borderline calls 90% of the time and the one time you don't you want an investigation.
