Pretty good for a first try...I would've made the text white with a black stroke...also read some tutorials on how to do blending to make the pictures blend better

I read some, however I was pretty unclear on what blending did...so I didn't really use it.

Care to share any advice over it?

Blending makes it so where the transition from the foreground and the background is smoother. Here is a good tutorial on how to do it:

http://www.tutorialfx.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5233 After you read that, scroll that a bit and read Essential-Strike's post (use a layer mask instead of just pressing 'delete')

And if you use that main site (http://www.tutorialfx.com/forums/index.php?showforum=10), it has a lot of good tutorials on how to do different things.

I think I like the white better, it stands out a bit more. Once you get more comfortable with photoshop, you can start messing with the different layer styles (ie. normal, soft light, overlay, etc.) which may give you some better results.

I did, so I deleted the layer and created a new one.

alright, i don't know how to say this without seeming like an ass.... so here it goes.

The pictures of just the faces suck.

What I personally think you should do is get big pictures of them in action, and use those, but close up so you can still see their faces. Then fade them into the background if you want.

This is all just my opinion, and i am also new to photoshop... take what i say with a grain of salt; there are numerous people on this board better then me at PS, and if they say something else, listent to them

Also, get a small pixel font (like this), set it to size 7, that thing i was talking about earlier to NONE, white font, 1 pixel black stroke, and put the names under each player

    Fuck you asshole!!!

Haha, just kidding man. I appreciate the help, and I'm gonna keep working at it.

The thing I was going for was like angry mugs ya know. So I had to just get straight faced pics, no smiling or anything.

They were tough to find, different sizes etc etc.

I'll see what I can fix up.

Besides the actual face selection, how about the background/brushing?
