The guard Brandon Brooks from Miami of Ohio was very, very impressive all week. He's a mammoth blocker who is a little raw in pass pro -- very similar to Carl Nicks when he left Nebraska. Wouldn't be stunned if he ended up winning a starting spot as a rookie on the right team, but more likely will be a 2nd year starter and then a stud for the long haul. Would love to get Carl Nicks and Brooks on the team. Our line would be back to a top road-grading unit, and the RT spot should be shored up either with one of our first two picks or with (preferably) an older veteran who can hold the edge.
