With guys like Peyton/Brady/Vick surefire to be out of the league, and Brees probably being out, im curious who you think the top 5 qbs in the league will be (for the sake of arguement lets just assume Brees is retired in exactly 5 years)

    Interesting.
I think Rodgers is the obvious pick
I dropped off Eli, Romo for being too old by that point.Rapey takes too much of a beating to assume he'll be effective at 34. SO.....
    1. Rodgers
    2. Stafford
    3. Rivers
    4. Luck
    5. Someone drafted 2013 or 2014.

    Aaron Rodgers
    Cam Newton
    Robert Griffin III
    Landry Jones
A Wild Card# some one will come out of nowhere like Brady...

I really think the NFL will continue to adopt the college-style spread offense and guys like Newton, Griffin III, and even possibly Tebow will be the key players in the changing the guard

Is Sam Crawford a college player?

    Unless you mean Sam Bradford.

Look at Mcnabb, hes been beat up, washed up, and done since 33ish ?

Vick might still be in the league but hes gonna be the McNabb you saw on the redskins/vikings and not this explosive beast anymore.

This guy is getting the shit beat out of every single game, and in that division vs the cowboys and Cmen every year forget it

I dont expect to see a 37 year old Michael Vick playing in the nfl, unless hes using a wheelchair

I think the point was why in the world would anyone consider Mike Vick a top 5 QB in the league even right now nevermind 5 years from now

Andrew Luck, I think Rodgers will slow down. Hes going to lose his star recievers real soon. Who really knows tho. Its so unpredictable.

I would say (in no particular order): Tebow; Sanchez; Gabbert; Skelton and Brady

Well that's a fair point, Vick was far from impressive this year, he was a very strong mvp candidate last year, who knows what he is next.

Newton, Eli, Flacco, Stafford, and Rogers. With one of them swapped out for Luck, maybe. I have a bad feeling about him.

Hubs chiming in too with Ponder, Luck, maybe Tebow, Newton, and maybe Matt Flynn. He also disagrees with my Eli and Flacco and thinks they will be done by then. He could be right about Eli I guess.

Last year Sanchez QB's us to the AFC championship game. This year about half of our fans want him and everyone involved in bringing him here fired.

Why should we go easy on Vick and forgive him of this seaosn if we'er out to run sanchez out of town?

No he wasn't. Tom Brady was the unanimous choice. Michael Vick has been a top tier quarterback for about three-quarters of one season over his entire career. He's barely even in the top ten. The only reason he cracked back into a starting lineup is because Kevin Kolb had his brains knocked out of his head.
