How many times has Rex been a head coach before the Jets? What was that? NEVER?! WOW!! So he's making some mistakes, big fcking whoop. Where was your bitching the last 2 seasons? Oh that's what I thought... Love him when he wins, throw him out the door when shti doesn't pan out.

You ever hear the term "CONTINUITY?" Look it up!!

Why do you give a rat's ass about this?

It went away as if it was some sort of Congress insider trading? What?

Rex is a coach of a game where one guy passes and hands a ball off to members of his team in order to reach the end of the field and score while trying to prevent the other team from doing the same - not make policy for an entire country. Take a recommendation - loosen up.

Yes I know what "CONTINUITY" is, it is 43 years of never getting to the Super Bowl again and having fans accept it.

I could be wrong, but I doubt there are many on these boards who have been Jet fans for over 43 years

And I guarentee that there are very very few (if any?) in the organization who are responsible for not making the superbowl much of the last 43 years

The intelligent fans will understand that the members of Congress based on their insider information make millions upon millions of dollars and no one does anything about it but they just cover it up.

Woody is IN LOVE with Rex. I just watched his interview on SNY, and I dont see Rex going anywhere, anytime soon. Woody acts like Rex is his Boss, its kinda funny but at least Rex has a lot of security.

You know something? You might be right.

Rex is still learning to be a Head Coach so maybe he has a bit more rope to play with(add the back-to-back AFCCG appearances and he's pretty safe). I think the one who could be on the hot-seat real soon is actually Tanny 'cause he's the one who is mis-handling Woody's money.

Oh my god, you stuck with him through an issue that was entirely personal and had no bearing on his ability to coach at all and didn't even belong in the same head line as the Jets? Wowwww...you TRULY are an amazing Jets fan!

In all seriousness, please learn the difference between subjective and objective because your first statement of your temper tantrum makes you look like an idiot because you didn't state any objective "facts" that contradicts the fact that you threw the entire team, coach, and F/O under the bus the minute things went bad for us. And NO, still being a fan after an entirely personal issue which had no place in the news section of football doesn't still make you a supporter.

It's no fucking surprise that Schotty was wrong in what he did, and in my eyes the fact that he got fired, means Rex did, indeed, "right the ship" and corrected that mistake.

And you need to come to grips with the fact that the Jets are one of the most hated Franchises in this league, we're basically the Raiders of the 80's. So you can pout all you want about us being the joke of the league, but no matter what, people will shit on us ANY MINUTE THEY CAN. If you're too big of a pussy to handle that, I hear there's another football team in NY that you can root for.

i agree, in love or not, you almost have to give a first time HC the chance to make right (not that it has always been the case with the others appointed recently).

I am a bit surprised with the hatred for Tanny on this forum but i guess it is the same thing as with Schotty. Tanny gets it because Rex is more liked, Schotty gets it because Sanchez is better positioned. In both cases I would argue that their biggest mistake is to have their livelihood dependent on an inexperienced non-proven guy.

Where was he going to get the 4 billion dollars to do that? The city wasn't giving him a fucking cent. It cost almost 2 billion to build the current POS in NJ where the land was free and the unions and mob are only 80% as bad as NY due to it being built on state controlled land. Those 20k PSLs would be 100 and those $700 tickets would be $1500. It would have been a disaster to finance that in NY.
