I guess we should have not expected more from you then putting on your rose colored glasses.

Yeah, Sanchez and Holmes are going to break bread together now because you are going to sit them both down. Give me a friggen break. They did not get along from week 4 on and your head coach who is really in over his head because he is a great DC but not skilled enough to be a leader and head coach, was not able to straighten it out and therefore lost his team and ruined another season for the long suffering Jets fans.

Your GM is the ultimate joke and should be the first clown fired.

Sanchez is a soft west coast boy who cares more about dating high school girls and posing for GQ then taking a leadership role. If he had a problem with Holmes he needed to straighen it out in the locker room even if it meant getting his ass kicked. If he confronted him in front of his team he would have won their respect.

It is such a joke and display of lack of leadership for Rex to let this go on for 13 weeks and ruin our season and furthermore embarrass us with all Giants fans by blowing a game against them that basically would have ended their season instead of turning it into another potential Super Bowl season.

I used to be Rex's biggest supporter and always hated Shottenheimer and Tannenbaum but now I hate Rex as much as the GM and honestly feel that we have seen the best that Rex had to offer.

when Tannebaum and Rex kept bringing up time after time that we went to the AFC Championship game two years in a row it just showed you that they were proud to lose. That is not the goal guys. When Rex said he was not going to change he needed to be shown the door along with the accountant.

Unfortunetly our silver spoon owner does not have the balls to make the tough decision that he needs to make and I am now more convined than ever I will never see another Jets Super Bowl in my lifetime.

I am also disappointed at all the Jets fans who defend everything that the organization does and is willing to accept the shambles that these clowns have created.

We are now the laughing stock of football as the most dysfunctional team.

    Thanks Woody.

Listen, what do you expect the guy to say, " the team is beyond repair and can't be fixed"?
I hate people who knock Woody. Don't you people remember LEON HESS?!!!

At least Woody gives them the resources to put a winning team on the field.

You use to be one of Rex's biggest supporters?

No, you weren't. You were just jumping on the bang wagon when things were going good and once things went bad for this coach and this team, you're throwing everyone under the bus.

You're no fucking better than Holmes.

Where do these "the sky is falling" hysteria fans come from?

Rex can't run a team? Joe Torre via Jeter and A-Rod? Phil Jackson via Kobe and Shaq? Do these people honestly think no great coach has had to deal with teammates who hated each other? Are these people sports fans?

Jets12, stop making retarded threads. You are making yourself out to be a fucking clown. We get it, you are not on board with ANYONE in the Jets F/O.

Yet, you still seem to think people care to listen to you bitch and moan in an emotional tantrum because of an 8-8 season with locker room dysfunction after an emotional season.

    Stop crying.. Stop making threads.

Please, go jump on the Giants bandwagon! Get outta here!

I don't think we can put Rex in the same class of "coach" as Torre, Jackson or even Billy Martin (Nettles and Jackson) just yet. That's where alot of the angst is coming from as far as Rex being able to pull this team-rebuilding thing off or not. I'm not sure even Rex knows how successful he'll be but I will say he doesn't have alot of time to show improvement.

If Woody indeed fucked up, One of the biggest mistakes was sharing a stadium with the Giants instead of flexing his requirement that the new Jets stadium be built inside the NYC limits on the west side and perhaps looked seriously at other sites in the area like Yonkers (the old raceway site).

I don't think it was so much as a direct comparison of those coaches as much as it was every coach, good or bad, has to deal with this bullshit. There's always going to be drama like this shit every now and then.

What really matters is how Rex handles it, not the fact that it happened.

Absolutely agree. It all really comes down to this upcoming season's results on the field as that will tell us just how effective Rex was in repairing the team's psyche. If this team has a similar or worse season, that won't bode well for Rex.

Talk about knee-jerk overreaction. I knew it would get ridiculous if we missed the playoffs this season but wow, have a drink or two and calm down man.

Really, 2 trips to the AFC Championship game in the last 3 years, the closest sniff to a SB by FAR since 98 and then like an eternity before that, and this is what you have to say?

    Thanks for NOTHING?!

Good lord you gotta be shitting me. Why don't you go make billions then buy a team then you can do whatever the hell you want with it.

Wow, I mean, seriously, give me a fcking break with this whiny bullshit.

How about you be grateful that we aren't the Raiders or the Rams or some other basement team that is grateful for a .500 season let alone a sniff at the playoffs.

We should be thanking Woody for giving a shit about this team and trying as hard as he can to put together a product that we enjoy seeing week after week.

I mean I LOVE being a Jet fan, it is fcking AWESOME!! Yes we have our ups and downs but its NEVER EVER a dull moment with this team. I enjoy the entire ride, one way or another.

So THANK YOU Mr. Woody Johnson for continuing to dump buttloads of cash into this team and making it exciting to watch despite some Jet fans like this dolt who frankly make me sick that I share something in common with them.

I just wanted to highlight and reiterate this.

I love being a Jets fan and, especially within these last two years. Where year in and year out, we're..probably..the most hated and underrated team. Maybe this year we deserve all the shit we're getting but the 2009 and 2010 season, were in my opinion awesome years to be a Jets fan and Rex has a lot to do with that. Everyone hated us and wanted us to lose, and we just threw it right back in their face. Especially last year. I LOVED the Us vs. the World mentality, and I think Rex needs to really ingrain that again. He needs to reiterate that sometimes, the House wins..but that doesn't mean we give up (ie: HOLMES), we get up, brush ourselves off and then fucking challenge the world again.

Obviously we didn't win the SB but you know, it was damn fun to be a Jets fan and that win over the Patriots last year was a pretty damn fucking good week for me.

I obviously expect more from this team in the long run (ie: when we finally win a SB), but I feel proud of both my Coach, my team, and the Owner. It's just a shame that some drama queen WR really was able to cause so much bullshit in the locker room and such bitterness in our fans.

No ones immune to criticism but jesus christ some of you guys are the most bi-polar, self loathing fans I've ever witnessed.

One thing that I have found out through the brief years of my existence is that events such as the bolded rarely, if ever, occur. Why wouldn't we want our own stadium? Why woudln't we want it, at the very least, in the state of NY? Sucks...

My BIGGEST problem with him is that...the fucking Nets have a stadium in Brooklyn but the Jets couldn't?

Really? out of the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn (Staten Island can go drift away into the ocean for all I care)...you're meaning to tell me we HAD to go NJ? I'm tired of hearing Gov. Christies fat fucking mouth demanding the SB parade belongs in NJ because they train/play there.

98 more years until the Jets can play in NY again I guess.

You should not make statements unless you have the facts. If you are fine with accepting the fact that the New York Jets are a friggen joke because of these clowns then fine that is your perogative but if most of the fans would not accept this there would be major changes in the right direction.

When Rex had the foot fetish issue, I looked the other way even though you truly have to question the judgement of a person in that position being dumb enough to make those type of movies. Do what you want as long as no one gets hurt but do it behind closed doors. The amazing part is that the issue went away as if he was a member of Congress doing some type of insider trading.

However, when the coach loses control of the team in week 4 of the season and cannot right the ship, and he continues to tell the world how great the team is and how he is not going to change, then he has to go. He is not head coaching material. To also allow your OC to call 67 pass attempts when you are averaging 4.5 yards a carry and the season is on the line and to say that will not happen again is a total joke just like he is and now the entire organization.
